CB2012 Call for papers

The International Symposium on Cyber Behavior will be held on February 10-12, 2012, at the Grand Hotel, Taipei (http://www.grand-hotel.org/), Taiwan. This symposium aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange research results on cyber behavior.

The upcoming CB2012 symposium covers, but not limited to the following areas:

Social networking behavior on Google+, Facebook, MySpace, and others
Addiction
Blogging behavior
Computer-mediated communication
Cyberbullying and Internet Abuse
e-Commerce
e-Health issues
Internet advertising
Internet consumer behavior
Internet porn, Cybersex and Cybering
Mobile Commerce
Mobile device behavior, such as tablet computers, iPhone, Android, Kindle
Online dating behavior
Online shopping
Online market survey
Online Word-of-mouth
Video games, computer games, and online games
Video sharing, such as Youtube and others
Virtual Communities

PUBLICATION

Only original and unpublished paper will be considered. The accepted papers will be collected into the ATISR2012 conference proceedings in CD-ROM.
All accepted articles in conference would be published as full papers (15 pages), research notes (6 pages), or extended abstracts (2 pages with abstract, introduction, method, results, and references) in one of the following journals.

IJECS - International Journal of Electronic Commerce Studies
IJCSE - International Journal of Cyber Society and Education


Base on manuscript's quality and topic, the committee would assign the appropriate journal and appropriate category (full papers/research notes/extend abstracts) to publish the accepted manuscripts. Authors of accepted papers have the option of publishing or not publishing their papers in the journal assigned by CB2011. If authors choose not to publish their articles in journal, their papers would appear in ATISR2012 proceedings (CD-ROM) only.

Page charges will be waived for journal publication. Nevertheless, authors need to pay the extra page charge if their manuscript is longer than the assigned page quota. The page charge waive is a privilege for registered conference participants only. If authors do not pay the conference registration fee, their papers will not appear in the journals and CD proceedings.

CB2012 registration fee is the same with ATISR2012.

Acceptance Notification: 21 days after submitted
-Manuscripts will be reviewed and accepted in a rolling basis until the deadline.
Registration Deadline: December 31, 2011
